What is Shinjinbukan Karate-Do?

In the year 2000, at the turn of the millennium, Onaga dai sensei presented each of his deshi with a new obi (belt) embroidered with the name, “Shinjinbukan”. It was this gesture that signaled Onaga sensei’s formal adoption of the name Shinjinbukan to represent not only his dojo in Naha City, Okinawa, but also the organization of schools that were beginning to form around the world.  (more...)

What is this website?

Firstly, it is still under-construction!

Shinjinbukan.net is intended as a resource for students and teachers of Shinjinbukan karate do.

This is the association web site, not intended to teach karate, but rather to work as the online virtual headquarters.

Over time and as required this site will:

• include policy and regulations updates
• act as the communications hub for the association
• provide access to online and printed forms for procedural matters of the association
